About the course
Our LLB (Hons) Law with Foundation Year* is a Qualifying Law degree studied over four years. The first year is a Foundation year, which focuses on developing an understanding of the legal sector and the key skills required to undertake the LLB (Hons) Law Degree. The subsequent three years then follow our Full-time LLB course. Awarded Gold in 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework. *Subject to approval
Four Year with Foundation LLB: 48 UCAS points, from a maximum of 3 A-levels. For example A,DD or EEE at A-level. GCSE Maths at grade D/grade 4 and GCSE English at grade C/grade 4 or above. BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma Grade required: Distinction. BTEC Level 3 Diploma: Merit, Pass. BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: Pass, Pass, Pass. A non- standard application route is also available. Any applicant with no or limited formal qualifications will be invited in-centre to complete an in-house numeracy and literacy test (for those without GCSE Maths and English at grades D and C respectively) As well as a formal face-to-face interview. They will also need to provide 2 years of appropriate work experience evidenced in full CV and one reference.
International: An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
