Due to significant growth within their operations division they are currently recruiting a Street works Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.

To provide effective administrative support to the Street works Team to assist them in managing activities that take place on the Highway network.

You will be responsible for the Opening and Closing of Permits using Street work systems whilst ensuring that all aspects of the TMA (Traffic Management Act) are met.

This would include the raising of street works, licences, and permits liaising with the councils and coordinating all aspects of traffic management/responding to written correspondence, e-mails, telephone calls and other enquiries as well as general admin and finance support to the Team…

You will be required to update all scheduling tools and other in-house IT systems, Plus the monitoring and coordination of high volume works includes liaising with Operational teams to ensure that delivery targets are met.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years utility background essential, with street works knowledge
- Reinstatement and excavation administration experience preferred
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Must be computer literate and fully conversant with excel, word.
- Must be used to working under pressure.
