Salary: £20,919-£25,161pa, in addition there is a possibility of a market forces payment up to £3,000pa. Plus a discretionary bonus related to performance of up to £3,000, depending on skills, experience and qualifications.

Working closely with the support of the college Business Development Executives to deliver high quality training, assessment and support to students in their workplace.
You will carry a case load of students weighted according to the duties of this role. This will include assessing, training and where appropriate internal quality assuring.
It is expected that wherever an assessor starts on the spectrum of skills that all will work towards the capability of delivering advice and guidance, supporting functional skills, NVQ/Diploma assessment, underpinning knowledge and, where appropriate, Technical Certificate. Staff development is extremely important and there is an expectation that most will gain the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.
It is the responsibility of assessors to manage the whole process of support, training and assessment for each apprentice. This will start with recruitment to maintain caseload, continue with initial advice and guidance, enrolments, completion of Individual Learning Plan, training, assessment, registration with Awarding Body, coordinate delivery of Functional Skills with the Functional Skills Team, Technical Certificate (or co-ordinate with relevant School), review and sign off processes. All of this will occur within the time frame of the original independent learning programme in order to meet the timely success rates.
To be successful in this role, you should ideally as a minimum hold a Level 3/4 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning/Childcare and a TAQA L3/4 assessor (or be willing to work towards this). Have provable and relevant industrial experience including assessing and verification plus experience of liaising with industry and employers.
