This company organises major-scale events within complex & sensitive markets including defence, security and medical.

Due to the success of their flagship event, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Sales Executive to join the team and help grow the show. They are looking for a bright, creative and articulate individual to join the team and sell exhibition space at their prestigious event.

Key responsibilities:
- Sell exhibition space and where applicable sponsorship at their annual exhibition
- Telesales to potential exhibitors to meet and exceed sales revenue targets
- Floor plan management and allocation of stand space in conjunction with the Commercial Manager
- Attend competitor events (both domestically and internationally) thereby maintaining relationships, expanding the database and prospecting for new business
- Where necessary carry out face-to-face meetings with existing and potential exhibitors to secure their involvement
- Ensure that all sales administration is completed to a high standard including written proposals and keeping the Sales CRM up-to-date
- Resolve exhibitor issues both in the office and on site
- Work on-site during the build-up, open period and breakdown of all the shows actively helping clients with their on-site requirements
- Liaise with marketing, PR and operations to ensure they are kept up-to-date with exhibitor details
- Build relationships with clients, understanding their businesses and marketing needs
- Accurately report progress & forecast to Commercial Manager

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong team player and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise and multi task
- Excellent administrative skills
- High levels of professionalism with strong attention to detail
- A fun and outgoing individual who can contribute to the office dynamic
- Degree educated or somebody with 1-2 years sales experience
