The exciting news for the UK is the announcement of the company’s very first Outlet Store for their flagship brand, to be located in YORK, and set to open in September 2017.
It is vital that the successful applicant should share our client’s manufacturing passion for all things horological, and feel completely at ease collaborating with Head Office to achieve the maximum success for the brand.
You will have at least 3-5 years’ retail management experience, ideally gained within the watch industry – although capable Assistant Managers with a proven track record, looking for the next step up, will also be considered. You will be commercially astute with a keen and watchful eye constantly focused on increasing store turnover and profitability.
To thrive in the watch and jewellery industry, you need to be warm and approachable, while at the same time possessing strength of character and the drive to achieve goals – be they sales targets, customer service expectations, or exacting standards of in-store visual merchandising and display.
Leadership responsibility sits well on your shoulders; you are always encouraging your team to share and learn from your retailing knowledge and experience. A talent for perceptive recruitment, and the ability to motivate and develop your supporting colleagues, are essential.
Your management style recognises the need to be accessible to customers. With your stellar sales persona, you relish leading your team by example when it comes to adopting the best in-store retailing standards.
Proficiency with Ms Office, especially Excel, as well as a second language, would be advantageous, as would personal flexibility regarding working hours, to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times.

As the Company’s first Outlet Store Manager, your success will undoubtedly encourage the opening of further stores nationwide, which could in time create opportunities for even greater involvement and personal responsibility for you.
