Competitive Salary fully flexible benefits scheme car UK Wide: Can be based from Reading, London, Hatfield, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Manchester Main Responsibilities The Infrastructure Architect is an influential and customer-facing role, engaged in the pre-sales lifecycle, developing solutions required in response to customer requirements and also for the identification and solution development of opportunities that will enhance the end user experience. This involves elements of selling the Computacenter solution services to existing and new name customers. This involves building up a detailed and in-depth understanding of customer requirements, defining and improving the solution process and pre-sales processes and evaluating business value; whilst ensuring compliance with the company and, for existing customers, the account technical standards. This role is part of a team responsible for the service and development of the solution process ensuring continued improvements, service and strategy definition. The ideal candidate must have a deep level of experience around the technology not just on how it operates but fundamentally how it integrates with environments, how it is designed to be used, what works and what does not. They must be VERY technical but at the same time have a strong understanding of commercial sales lifecycles and they understand how sales people work. A poor pre-sales engineer can derail a sale, a good one accelerates it. Acting as Technical Authority for multiple, enterprise scale CyberArk engagements Developing business cases Producing detailed Scope of Work documentation to support competitive tenders Ensuring a high level of quality via documentation and personal representation Managing change control of design(s), process related tasks and associated documentation Handover project initiation to consultants delivering the solution, post sales Working to define services based on supplier technology and in response to the demands of the market Managing relationships with all parties involved in 'cradle to grave' solution provision cycle Engaging in, and managing, Customer demonstrations and Proofs of Concept Pre-sales Assisting with Pre-Sales technical enquiries Attending Customer opportunity / strategy meetings Understanding the business and technical strategy of the Customer Providing qualification of designs or opportunities and appropriate contributions to Invitations To Tender, Requesting For Quote, Requesting For Purchase, etc Presenting proposals to Customers through presentations and meetings Discussing with Customers options for technical designs / futures and applicable Computacenter service offerings Producing technical architecture / design documentation Presenting an impartial and unbiased view on competitive product / services portfolios Presenting the strategic direction of the Vendors/Partners to both internal and external customer audiences Scoping and sizing projects based on outcomes from workshops and assumptions they make (and document) Technology Researching technology and delivering associated white papers and business cases. Participating in industry forums as a perceived expert Maintaining high level of industry awareness through training and self-development Advising and recommending on future technology and services Working closely with Vendors / Partners to keep up-to-date with current and future technologies, products and strategies Disseminating knowledge to the other consultants, within the consultancy practice, and other internal service providers. The can provide HLD and design architecture advice Ancillary Activities Supporting the Security Technology Leader to maintain quality levels across the team and input to team direction Developing and maintaining a highly visible profile, internally and externally (with vendors), that promotes the Security team's value to the business Mentoring other consultants Maintaining all administrative documentation as requested What do we need from you? The candidate must have good experience and current accreditation in CyberArk security solutions. Ability to design enterprise scale security CyberArk pre-sales, design and delivery experience Excellent communication skills; both written and oral. Significant pre-sales experience Proven ability in producing documentation for a technical and business audience. Ability to deal with sensitive customer issues Ability to present large internal and external audiences Ability to present at Board level To have worked as a lead technical consultant, leading a team of technical consultants in post-sales delivery of projects To have worked on consultancy assignments within a wide variety of organisations.
