This role is responsible for responding to payment related queries from both the business and from banks and for ensuring that these are resolved in a timely manner. The Senior Analyst should take ownership of queries and ensure that they are dealt with in a professional manner. This role is also responsible for the day to day administration of our online banking systems. The successful applicant is expected to continually review established procedures in order to identify and implement effective process improvement which is crucial to the success of the department. This is a core area which the Senior Analyst will need to deliver on, together with proactively supporting all Analysts in the wider CMOC team, in their daily tasks and activities to ensure a high level of education and awareness.Senior Analysts play a major role in the prevention and detection of financial fraud and liability and also for ensuring the accounts adhere to FCA regulations. Key Responsibilities Respond to payment related queries both from the business and from banks in a timely and helpful manner Administration of online banking systems in line with our compliance and audit requirements Adhere to procedures while also focusing on improving efficiencies within the established tasks All procedures carried out have up to date process notes in line with any changes to working practice Provide cover for team members and line manager as and when required Meet standards and deadlines established by the direct line manager Evaluate and resolve problems independently and escalate where appropriate Provide training and support to Analysts and provide feedback on performance to your Manager Cultivate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaboration Comply with operational risk and regulatory Control policies and procedures, making sure all Regulatory reporting is accurate and provided in a timely manner. Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies Minimum of two years of relevant industry experience Ability to prioritise and work well under deadline pressure Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change Analytical ability and aptitude for problem solving Excellent quantitative and analytical skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word Proven ability to work in a team environment Desirable Skills, Experience and Competencies Experience of successfully working within a role which is highly numerical or technical Knowledge and experience of payments and banking Knowledge of the products and services provided by Computershare Specific Key Benefits of the Role Computershare offers all employees 25 days holiday, excellent pension scheme, shareholder incentive plan, subsidised gym membership and a flexible employee benefits scheme.
