DYSLEXIA AND DISABILITY COORDINATOR
Salary in the range £32,548 to £38,833 per annum

 
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to make a key contribution to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and provision relating to disability within the University.
 
The postholder will develop and review our policies and procedures and will liaise across and outside the institution to ensure their effective implementation and the dissemination of appropriate information and advice.  Duties will also include the provision of support and guidance to students including the organisation and delivery of supplementary tuition to students on an individual and group basis. 
 
The successful candidate will need drive, initiative, resilience and a clear focus on the needs of our students.  S/he will have experience of working with people with disabilities in an education setting, the ability to deliver support to students in such a way as to optimise the quality of their learning experience and an in-depth knowledge of, and experience of, providing advice on disability related issues. 
 
Hours of work will be 35 hours per week.  Occasional weekend working may be required, for example, to support with Open Days.
