Employment Partners are advertising a new and exciting opportunity for an apprenticeship on behalf of our client. This role would be ideal for candidates looking to achieve further qualifications and learn new skills . You will entered into an apprenticeship scheme to which you will be able to work towards qualifications such as: Warehousing Qualifications (QCF) HGV driving (Cat C Licence) Hazardous goods (ADR) You will be part of a team supplying over 30,000 customers nationwide with Agrochemical and Seed orders. As a Warehouse Apprentice, you will undertake a fully comprehensive 12-month training programme that will form the basis for a career path in Warehousing. At the end of the 12 months you will have gained a Level 2 Certificate in Warehouse Operations (QCF), and be well on your way to becoming a Logistics Professional Your training will also involve in house Logistic support training where you will gain high level customer service and order entry experience and skills, whilst using our in house systems and Microsoft packages You will be surrounded by career professionals who will guide and mentor you in all aspects of Logistics, allowing you to play an important part in ensuring we deliver the right stock to the right place at the right time Using the latest equipment to route, assemble and deliver our orders. You will become familiar with Warehouse Management systems, routing software, Tom Tom Satellite Navigation and the latest delivery vehicles on the market You will report directly to your mentor who is a department manager along with quarterly visits with an approved Training Adviser, who will support your learning and development throughout your apprenticeship Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress onto a Multi Drop Driving Apprenticeship Scheme (C1 - Class 2 Licence). Both schemes will also allow you to gain a nationally recognised qualification. Qualifications required GCSE's or equivalent A-C to ideally in Maths and English, some work experience working in a customer-facing environment and within a team is desirable. There will be extensive manual handling on a day-to-day basis together with operating a Forklift Truck after training. Ideally Candidates should have passed their car driving test and have reliable transport to and from work, but all circumstances will be considered.
