247 Professional Health are looking to recruit full time passionate, flexible and motivated Support Workers to join a dynamic and expanding independent specialist college within the Stockport, Manchester area. Our successful client provides a unique range of services for young adults with special educational needs and disabilities. This is a very exciting opportunity for a number of Support Workers to join a well-established organisation working on a full time temp to perm basis that is dedicated to providing a creative, happy and secure enviroment for children and young adults with sever learning disabilities which include lilttle or no langauge abilities. This specific vacancy is based in the Stockport, Manchester area which specialises in further education for young people 19 to 25 who have sever or profound learning difficulties and disabilities. With the expertise of the specialist teachers, care staff, onsite therapy team, swimming teachs and sports teachers the students learn how to express themselves and engage with the world around them becoming more independent to live safe, creative and fulfilling lives. The purpose-built college is set within a 90 acre site which enables students to develop their orienterring and road safety skills and allows the use of adapted bicycles and walking aids. These individuals now need help becoming more independent, in a semi-independent environment.
