Apprentice IT Technician
Location: Central Office, Peterborough

The Role
As an Apprentice IT Technician at United Learning, you will work with colleagues at the centre and in schools to:

  • Log and maintain support requests and keep users informed of progress.
  • Provide first level hardware and software Service Desk support to central office users.
  • Perform routine maintenance on end user devices, operating systems and applications.
  • Ensure all users receive excellent customer service.

If you are successful in this application, you will be sponsored to study a Level 3 qualification and will be supported through this by experienced colleagues working in the department. We have proven success of offering exciting careers and development opportunities.

Our apprenticeships salaries start for under 19-year old at £4.22 per hour, more if you are older and will progress as you are on the programme. You will need to have at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English.

About You
We are looking for an ambitious and confident individual to join our Technology department to assist the Group IT Systems Manager in the provision of IT Support to Central Office and remotely delivered technical services for schools. This post has been newly created to provide essential first line IT support across a growing organisation.
