We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer, based at our Rawcliffe Bridge site near Goole. In this role, your main responsibilities will be to provide accurate piping isometrics & process plant equipment layout drawings from 2D arrangements or 3D modelling techniques from scanned data. Other responsibilities will include producing & amending the associated P&IDs & general assembly drawings representing plant installations.

As our ideal candidate, you will have excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. You will be able to plan and organise your workload independently, keeping timely and accurate records. Ideally you will be a time served mechanical engineering apprentice with an HNC in mechanical engineering. You must demonstrate proficient use of Autocad software and you will have gained previous experience in a similar role. You will also be expected to be a competent surveyor of existing plant equipment and pipe-work in support of the role. The ability to manage small to medium sized engineering projects would also be desirable.
