This unique and enviable role will be a key member of their Pre-Sales Team, delivering crucial technical design expertise to the Sales Team & customers. The position requires regular UK-wide travel.

The role encompasses all aspects of Pre-Sales services, including Technical Account Management (TAM), design, technical presentations, proposal writing, tender responses and Proof of Concept (PoC) delivery. You will work closely with your assigned Business Development Managers to ensure that designs & technical solutions meet or exceed customer requirements, proposals are of the highest quality & customers are well-looked after.

You will be expected to be a Pre-Sales expert in the core technologies that are sold, as well as have a good technical understanding of the wider portfolio. You will be able to provide a consultative approach to the technical design process by highlighting the integration, operational and long-term advantages that any solution will provide. You must be able to communicate efficiently to both technical and non-technical people and be able to discuss solutions with customer's technical teams and C-level alike.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work closely with your assigned Business Development Managers to ensure that all customer requirements and expectations are met to a very high standard
- Be a subject matter expert on Core technologies and can provide consultative designs for customers
- Provide designs, specifications and proposals
- Provide presentations, demonstrations and PoCs
- Provide advice and knowledge transfer to customers
- Produce High Level and Low Level Technical Documentation
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of the Core product's
- Build strong relationships and rapport with customers, colleagues and vendors

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

- At least 3 Years' Experience within a technical IT role
- Some experience in a Pre-Sales/ TAM role
- Experience working with wireless, wired & security technologies, e.g. Extreme Networks Switches and Wireless, Aerohive Wireless, Dell EMC Switches, Palo Alto Security Platform, and Rukus Wireless
- Experience configuring Microsoft Technologies - RADIUS/NPS, Certificate Services, DHCP
- Wired, Wireless and/or security certifications, e.g. CCNA,

Training on core technologies will be provided if required, as well as opportunity to develop skills & knowledge.

Salary advertised includes a base salary & performance related bonus.
