The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager at Neale-Wade Academy. The successful candidate
will be responsible for safety, security and maintenance of the Academy site and its resources:
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operational management, safety and security of the Academy site.
• Responsible for ensuring that the school is a well-maintained, safe and secure site for all users.
• Ensuring high standards of site supervision and effective use of resources to enhance the learning
environment for students and staff
• Management of caretakers and wider site team.
• Premises related Health and Safety issues including compliance.
• Management of maintenance and repairs and facilities on site.
Successful Site Manager will have:
• Successful experience over a number of years as a practitioner in a building/engineering or similar trade.
• Successful management experience.
• Have the ability to relate easily to a wide range of people, through an even temperament.
• Be a self-starter with strong organisational skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable.

The core hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm with the ability to cover some shift work as and when required and
to be on call for the alarm system during non-working hours.

This role requires the applicant to be physically fit.
