We are looking for an inspirational Lecturer in IT & Computing to teach and assess on a range of IT & Computing courses from Level 1 to 5 (HND) including Cyber Security, Games Design and Software Development to motivate and inspire our learners to achieve their goals.

This exciting area of the College will soon be undergoing a £1m refurbishment of our IT facilities and the creation of a new Digital Skills Centre.

The successful candidate must have experience in hardware, networking and support. This includes Programming and App development, SQL and Sequel Server development and implementation, Project management and Prince 2, Systems analysis and design, Technical Support, Network Design and Management, Software installation and upgrades, System maintenance, Hardware Installation, Preventative maintenance and Project management.

The successful candidate must also hold a relevant degree qualification (Computer Science or IT) and comprehensive, recent industrial experience in an IT or software development role. You must hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma teaching qualification (supported by CPD) upon appointment. You must also have experience of delivering lessons at a standard of 'Good' or above, possess excellent communication skills and be highly motivated to provide an outstanding service to our learners.

The hours for this position are flexible for the right candidate, ideally between 2 - 5 days. Salary will be a pro rata to that on the Job Description.
