are looking for a permanent full time general labourer/yard hand to work at a busy timber merchants in Waterlooville.


  •  General Duties including assisting customers where required
  •  Yard & Mill work
  •  Timber Porterage and Order Picking
  •  Supporting work processes by preparing, sorting, measuring, cutting, adding, trimming, and loading materials where required
  •  Maintain clean and safe working areas and work records; following safety rules and procedures and wearing personal protective equipment wherever required (supplied)
  •  Adhoc Projects as requested


  •  Fork Lift licence an advantage, but not essential
  •  Customer Service; including good written and verbal communication skills
  •  Dependable & Punctual and must be a team player
  •  Please note that there is a lot of Manual Handling & Lifting involved and a lot of outdoor work
  •  Timber Knowledge and Warehouse Experience are preferred but not essential as full on-site training will be given

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm with 1hr Lunch Break

Standard 20 days + bank holidays
Free on-site parking
Premises within walking distance of Waterlooville town centre
Rate of pay dependent on experience
