37 hours per week

The Council has been successful in securing further resources from the Government's Controlling Migration Fund to tackle and remedy the impact that anti-social behaviour have on the people and communities of Boston. As a result, we are looking to recruit an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer who will take a proactive role in the operation of anti-social behaviour case management, responding effectively to service requests. We need an officer who can engage effectively with a multi-national community, whether the individual is a victim, witness or perpetrator.

Although we are a small Council we are ambitious about our potential and passionate about ensuring our residents have a decent and safe environment in which to live, work and play as this is key the attainment of health and wellbeing - a corporate priority of the Council. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to delivering safer and stronger communities to support and protect the health, safety and welfare of vulnerable people within our borough.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential to the post, but candidates must also have the ability to communicate in other languages including, but not limited to, Polish and Russian. Ideally the post holder would also be able to communicate in Latvian and Lithuanian.

The successful applicant must have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification or experience in Criminology, ASB or Law. Ideally the candidate would also have recent evidenced experience of working within a relevant, community based role.
