 Flat-bed (wood work) CNC Operator

Full time, permanent vacancy for experienced CNC Operator,required to work within our busy workshop, which manufactures exhibition stands, interiors and retail outlets.

The CNC work is on a flat-bed machine, cutting wood / MDF etc.


The ideal candidate must have the knowledge, skills and experience in
  • Setting up and operating CNC and conventional machine tools to produce components from engineering drawings.
  • CNC Programming and Uploading
  • Conversant with 2D Programming
  • AutoCAD Experience - Produce or edit AutoCAD files ready for production.
  • Computer literate – computer compatibility and data
  • Must be able to read and understand Technical Drawings
  • Efficiently and accurately cut materials using the CNC
  • Maintain the CNC and tools

Experience of custom build / bench hand joinery would also be an advantage.
You need to be responsible, hardworking, dedicated, able to work on your own initiative, be physically fit, and well organised.  

The position is full time (40 hours per week), however you will be required to be flexible and to work extra (paid) hours during busy times, which will include weekends and evenings.
