To drive the growing momentum in the city, the council is seeking to appoint two key posts to ensure successful delivery against its ambitious Belfast Agenda.
Director (Operational) of City Regeneration and Development
Salary circa £90k
The key focus of this role is to lead the redevelopment and physical regeneration of the city. Our vision is to create energetic, safe and attractive places across the city for people to live, work and visit as well as driving improvements in our physical infrastructure.
You will be visionary in terms of creating innovative spaces, but will also lead on engagement with developers, investors and strategic partners across the public and private sectors to initiate and complete large scale regeneration projects.
You will have experience of leading on the development and delivery of regeneration strategies at a senior management level, and demonstrable experience of inspirational leadership, both internally and with external stakeholders.

Head of Human Resources
Salary circa £75k
The key focus of this role is to lead on the development and implementation of the council's People Strategy, ensuring that the organisation has a clear plan to continuously improve employee and organisational performance, supporting the delivery of the Belfast Agenda.
You will perform a key leadership role in overseeing complex management and industrial relations issues, promoting a culture of professionalism, continuous improvement and cross-directorate collaboration.
Using your experience of operating at a senior management level and delivering successful HR services, you will work closely with senior leaders across council to ensure a strategic and corporate approach is taken in respect of all HR activity and engage with a diverse stakeholder base to successfully embed an agile and effective business partner model.
