Is an award winning holiday park, established for over 50 years and is one of the leading holiday parks on the East coast. An excellent opportunity has arisen and applications are sought for the position of:

COMPLEX MANAGER

£30,000 to £35,000 + Bonus

The Entertainment Centre is the principal venue on the park providing live entertainment and comprising 4 bars, a restaurant, Kids Fun Shop, Arcade and take away Fish & Chip Shop.

The Clubhouse / Entertainment Centre not only services the on-park needs of a substantial letting fleet and large base of private caravan owners, but also accommodates other major public events including ‘festival’ theme weekends, trade shows and events for other local organisations.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Staff recruitment, training, rostering, motivation and discipline.
  • Improvement of profitability; purchasing, stock control (all aspects), cellar and waste management, innovation and promotions.
  • Supervision of catering outlets.
  • Supervision of entertainment provision, programme planning, liaison with booking agents.
  • Controlling the venue to meet sales targets and operate within budget constraints.
  • Managing all aspects of health and safety, food hygiene and licensing requirements.

The successful applicant will have experience in a similar position or as an Assistant Manager ready for promotion to the next level.

This is a full-time, year round position and requires an individual with energy and enthusiasm with a forward thinking attitude and a proven track record in operating profitable venues within this or a similar sector. They will be required to implement company policies and developments whilst providing motivation to the Entertainment Centre Staff. Experience of budgets, P&L’s and general financial responsibility is also a requirement.

Working with Company Directors and other key staff, the successful applicant will be fully responsible for the operation of the Entertainment Centre and will develop and maintain operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of the centre as well as promoting and marketing the venue to maximise revenue and bring ideas and experience to move the centre forward.

The salary will be commensurate with experience and a proven track record of progression within the hospitality industry. Along with a salary there is also the opportunity to achieve a significant bonus subject to obtaining achievable targets.
