An award-winning Print Management and IT Solutions provider is looking for a Workshop Manager to join the team based in their Head Office in Peterborough. With regional offices located across the South, East Anglia, Midlands and London, this dynamic and forward-looking business has grown considerably over the past five years and has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Workshop Manager to join the team. As their Workshop Manager, you will be supervising the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Workshop Department and Installation team whilst coordinating and managing the process for delivering and installing multi-functional printing equipment (MFDs) into customer premises. Full training on a variety of office products will be provided through field and classroom-based learning and hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities: Configuring new multi-functional devices (MFD) for installation for printing and scanning on various network infrastructures Ensuring all customers orders are built in time for the required install date Ensuring machines are built to the require specification Database admin around the PDI function Supervising PDI, Delivery and Installation staff Manage warehouse stock and distribute items out to customers by courier as required General warehouse duties as required Attending training courses as appropriate Willing to undertake additional responsibilities as required i.e, Health & Safety/Fire Marshall About you: Full UK Driving Licence ability to drive a 3.5-ton van with tail lift (essential) Proven IT / technical background, ideally with previous experience working on MFDs, printers or similar technology Excellent communication skills at a supervisory level Strong and confident character with a successful leadership style Professional and courteous manner with excellent customer service skills IT literate - Microsoft office skills particularly in Word and Excel Flexible approach and can-do attitude Work well under pressure to meet time deadlines Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills Keen eye for detail and accuracy Team player Sounds interesting?
