M&Y Maintenance and Construction is now recruiting for two Gardeners to work with our Grounds Maintenance team in St Helens. About the role The main purpose of this role is to carry out gardening and grounds maintenance duties and deliver advice to residents, colleagues and clients. We are searching for determined individuals who have a ‘can do’ attitude and experience of horticulture and / or landscape maintenance. You will possess and extensive knowledge of horticultural procedures and the safe use of equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmer’s, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, chippers and hand tools. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as an awareness of relevant health and safety protocols. You will also have the ability to keep accurate records. A basic DBS check and a full UK driving license is required for these positions.
