Purchase Ledger Administrator
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our dynamic finance team in Wigan. The role is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary depending on experience. Specialist Leisure Group (SLG) is a successful £200m turnover leisure business which employs more than 2000 people. The Group provides holidays and short breaks for over one million customers each year. The brands are well known and include Shearings Holidays, National Holidays, Caledonian Travel, UK Breakaways, Bay Hotels, Coast & Country Hotels, Country Living Hotels and Wallace Arnold Travel Shops. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator with experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and work well in a team environment. Excellent communication skills are also a must as you will liaise with both suppliers and the wider finance team. Key responsibilities of our Purchase Ledger Administrator will include: - Scanning and indexing supplier invoices - Reconciliation of supplier accounts - Preparing adhoc payments and payment runs - Petty cash returns - Filing - Other adhoc duties as required Skills/experience/qualifications needed as our Purchase Ledger Administrator: - Previous experience of working in a busy purchase ledger team. - Experience and understanding of an automated purchase ledger process (PO, GRNI etc). - Excellent communication skills. - Strong attention to detail.
