Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes
The experts at our regional distribution centre ensures our customers’ mail and other goods are delivered securely around the world, often in very demanding environments. This is your opportunity to become one of those experts, helping us respond to global challenges with speed, agility and technological innovation.
Build your practical knowledge and expertise
Join us on our 13 month Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship scheme, and you will be able to gain hands-on experience of supply chain and logistics while also studying towards an NVQ Level 2 certificate in Warehousing and Storage Skills. Much of your learning will be done on the job, as you carry out a wide range of warehouse duties covering areas such as stock control and the packing and bagging of diplomatic mail. You will also enjoy more formal learning opportunities, including in-house training courses and regular sessions at Bedford College.
Show a real willingness to learn
To make it as one of our apprentices, it is preferred that you have two GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications) in English and Maths but not essential as support will be given to successful candidates. A great team player and all-round communicator, you’ll be able to enter data accurately and manage your workload in a logical way. It’s also important that you have a genuine interest in logistics and are willing to work and study hard.
And the work you do will mean more
At FCO Services, we keep information, assets and people safe around the world. Our customers, who include the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, look to us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their ever-changing security challenges. This gives every job here added significance – yours included. As you develop into a key player within our distribution centre, you will be helping to protect national interests and making an impact that is felt far beyond the UK.
Successful candidates will be required to complete security clearance.
