Practical Conservation Tasks

Manhood Wildlife & Heritage Group aims to research, conserve and enhance the landscape, biodiversity and heritage of the Manhood Peninsula through community involvement and foster its care, enjoyment and understanding.

They require volunteers to carry out a range of practical tasks on the sites they manage.

This could include: planting trees, hedges, wild-flowers and marginal plants, managing brambles, controlling invasive plants, pruning and general gardening activities. Relevant training will be provided.

This is a wonderful opportunity to develop a range of practical conservation skills and you will work with the happy band of volunteers that manage the site.
