The LEP Trade & Investment team promotes the Leeds City Region’s interests on a national and international scale, securing inward investment, jobs and growth. Over the last two years, Leeds City Region has demonstrated a strong record in Foreign Direct Investment and we are now rolling out an ambitious programme of profile raising and lead generation activity to meet our growth aspirations.
The PR and Marketing Manager will plan, deliver and evaluate campaigns and projects aimed at promoting Leeds City Region as a destination for trade and inward investment within national and international markets.
Activities will include:
Delivery of proactive integrated marketing and media campaigns and communications activities designed to promote trade and inward investment opportunities across Leeds City Region’s priority sectors and markets
Translating sector strategies into lead generation delivering activities
Developing strong relationships with regional, national, international and trade media outlets
Managing private and public sector stakeholder relationships at all levels
Producing high quality online and off-line collateral and content
Skills and experience
The ability to manage multiple projects and to quickly establish positive relationships with media contacts, local partners and stakeholders at all levels is essential. A strong commercial focus and experience of working in a fast paced, private sector client driven environment is key to this role.
