Registered Nurse – Hospice / Charity
Our client is a local charity providing specialist palliative and end of life care and support to patients and their family and friends. Since opening their doors to their first patient in January 1987, they have cared for over 14,300 local people and at any one time they care for over 230 people in the local community. All their services are provided free of charge, they are not a part of the NHS and rely on public support to raise 87% of their £6.7 million annual running costs.
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Salary: Band 5 Point 18 – 20, £11.95 per hour - £12.94 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Our client has an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse to join their highly regarded nursing team on the Inpatient Unit.
The role will require an individual with passion to deliver exceptional service and provide a high standard of care to patients and their carers/families. Liaising with members of the multidisciplinary team the successful applicant will also act on occasion as team leader. To join their team six months post registration experience and knowledge of Palliative Care is desirable.
This is an exciting time to join the Hospice as they move towards opening their new 18 bedded Hospice in Bosham in 2018.
