WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours Monday-Friday

Our client is a global manufacturer of high specification wire rope suspension systems. Working closely with construction companies across the UK they offer innovative ideas and solutions to meet the high demand and specification of their clients needs.
Over the past 10 years this company has grown from strength's to strength's to become one of the leading suspension systems manufacturer in the UK will shortly be relocating into a purpose built factory.
It is due to this growth they are now looking to recruit a BIM Coordinator based in their Welshpool office.

Based within Welshpool, Wales, our client is looking to recruit an BIM Coordinator to join the company at an exciting time of growth. Being on the forefront of innovative and dynamic ideas, our client is now extending their portfolio by implementing the use of BIM models within the organisation for their UK and international clients.
As a BIM Coordinator, you will have experience within mechanical, Electrical or Heating Ventilation UK construction sector. Responsible for 3D CAD drawings and uploading these via the BIM model, you will be at the forefront of this role.
You will work alongside BIM Coordinator and Engineers from other organisation incorporate the companies range on to the BIM platform.
Ideally you will have experience with REVIT.

Key Responsibilities of a BIM Coordinator to include:-

  • Creating REVIT MEP templates.
  • Clash detection and MEP co-ordination.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining the BIM Protocol.
  • Recording and monitoring the shared data and relationships between models
  • Coordinating the data modelling and management process
  • liaising with the design team and client to ensure success
  • Produce and adapt models and drawings via 3D CAD and REVIT

The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.

This is exciting role for anyone looking to develop their career. Ideally you will have a minimum of 1-2 years within commercial CAD drawings and software, however, as my client is looking to growth this area of the business they are looking for career minded individuals to grow with it.

Key experience essential for the BIM Coordinator role:
  • 1-2 Years commercial experience – not essential
  • Experience within Mechanical, Electrical or Heating Ventilation UK construction sector
  • Self-Motivated
  • Confident with CAD/ 3D software
  • Ideally, have REVIT experience
  • Have high computer literate
  • Good team player
  • Excellent communicational skills
  • Microsoft competent
  • Ideally access to own vehicle
  • Educated to a degree level
