Ingfield Manor School, Billingshurst
Ingfield Manor is a day and weekly boarding school for 60 pupils aged 3 to 19 with neurological motor impairments such as cerebral palsy. A good school with outstanding features (Ofsted November 2013) and ambitions of becoming outstanding, and already an outstanding school for care (Ofsted every year to date), we are at the forefront of UK Conductive Education. Staff work in trans-disciplinary teams meeting all the pupils’ and students’ learning and care needs. We are an exciting and rewarding place to work and we are looking for talented people to join our team.
We are looking for team members to join staff working with a group of around ten students, likely to be a group of Secondary students. You will be involved in all aspects of the learning day.
You should have a related qualification such as NVQ3, or the willingness to acquire it ‘on the job’, and be experienced in working with children or young people. Posts are full-time, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Part-time can be considered – usually comprising full shifts of 7.5 hours. Some early morning or evening working may be required.
We are also looking for Evening Support Workers to work within the times 4.30pm to 9pm on Monday to Thursday with the residential students. Exact times and days can be discussed.
School holidays apply and are paid in full.
We expect all candidates to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and all posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
