LOCATION: Worksop

JOB TITLE: Accounts Administrator

SALARY & BENEFITS: £8.50 - £10.50 dependent on experience + onsite car parking

WORKING HOURS: Part time to start 3 days a week 9am-5pm

THE COMPANY: Our client is a fast growing company established in 2006 working for and within the Rail Infrastructure. They are based in Worksop and are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to work alongside the director.

THE ROLE: As an Accounts Assistant you will be covering all aspects of Booking keeping for the company along with all general Administration duties.

Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant to include:-
  • Handling credit control
  • Balancing accounts
  • Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Managing bank accounts and reconciliations
  • Handling company payroll
  • Submitting company VAT returns
  • Managing petty cash
  • Completing all general Administration duties

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and excellent attention to detail. Applicants must be computer literate and be able to work using their own initiative. Excellent organisational and time management skills are the key for success within this position.

Key experience essential for the Accounts Administrator role:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in book keeping
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office administration
  • Experience using Sage software
  • Lives within a commutable distance to Worksop
