Exciting Opportunity for full and part time individuals to join our Front of House Management team earning in excess of £10.00 per hour

With Gothic Victorian architecture, luxurious hotel rooms, Worcestershire's Restaurant of the Year 2016 and beautiful landscaped gardens, the Cotford Hotel is a fabulous family run business nestled at the foot of the wonderful Malvern Hills, in Worcestershire.  We are also Runners Up in the Worcestershire Hotel of the Year 2016.

Due to the success of the hotel, we are now looking to recruit additional Front of House Management Staff that show a genuine passion for the industry to ensure the continuity of our strong customer relations culture.  We have both full and part time opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

  • General hotel reception duties including answering the phone, taking reservations and dealing with general guest enquiries;
  • Serving at tables in the hotel restaurant;
  • Serving guests in the hotel bar;
  • Handling initial customer queries and referring on to the Hotel Management where appropriate;
  • Supporting with hotel functions and events;
  • Liaising with other hotel operations to ensure a smooth and consistent service to guests;
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for other members of staff and guests at all times;

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience within a hotel environment;
  • A genuine passion for the industry;
  • Any relevant Hotel and/or Hospitality Management qualifications would be advantageous;
  • Health and Safety and Food Hygiene certificates;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to cope under pressure;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
