JOB TITLE: Bus Driver 

SALARY & BENEFITS: £9.60 per hour

WORKING HOURS: Full Time, Part Time & Casual available – No lates and No Sundays!!! 

THE COMPANY: Our client is a well established company who have been operating within Corby for the last 12 years. They have a fleet of over 250 buses operating all across the UK. They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bus Drivers and non-experienced drivers to join their small and friendly team on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE: The role of a Bus Driver will be to undertake general service routes in local areas. Being a driver is about much more than just driving. It’s about putting your customer service skills to work and really looking after your passengers, no matter who they are, or where they’re headed. My client encourages everyone to reach their full potential and they reward anyone who helps them meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities/Duties of a Bus Driver to include:-

• To carry out all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• To drive vehicles and use Company equipment with due care and attention.
• To provide a high standard of customer service.
• To treat passengers in a helpful, polite and professional manner.
• To carry out a comprehensive safety check of the vehicle and complete the Vehicle Defect 
• Report Card in accordance with the Company procedures.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will be trained and have previous experience in this type of work. There are also opportunities available for trainee drivers to join this fantastic company. So, if you’re patient and calm, able to work confidently on your own and handle cash responsibly, my client could really help you go places .You will need to live within a commutable distance to Corby. 

Key experience essential for the role of Bus Driver :- 

• A PCV Licence
• Previous experience in a similar role/environment is advantageous
