Each year the University of Central Lancashire carries out the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education Survey (DLHE). This is a major project that allows the University to find out what students do when they leave us.
We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to support the Management Information Officer in the preparation and data collection for the survey, providing high-quality administrative assistance throughout all phases of the collection. The role is part of the Management Information Team, located within the Learning and Information Service (LIS).
Duties will include supervising temporary call centre staff, assisting with the data checking & coding of survey responses and undertaking daytime survey calls to leavers. Additionally, the successful candidate will act as a point of contact for internal School and Service queries relating to DLHE.
The role requires the ability to work with and handle large volumes of data, and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences, including staff, students and graduates.
The post holder will have demonstrable experience within an administrative and busy customer focussed role, preferably within higher education. Experience of the development and implementation of effective administration processes and a proven ability to work with standard software packages including Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook and Excel are also core requirements for this position.
The appointed candidate will possess a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above and ‘A’ levels or appropriate equivalent experiential learning.
There will be a break for Christmas from Friday 23rd December 2016 with work resuming on Monday 9th January 2017.
