JOB TITLE: Support Workers

SALARY: Unqualified £7.40 and Qualified £7.60 per hour

THE COMPANY: Our client, established in 2003 are a family run company based in Truro, Cornwall. They now employ over 130 permanent full and part time staff across Cornwall and provide services to over 300 clients. Despite the Company’s growth since 2003 they strive continually to raise the bar in terms of the support they offer to Service Users, by providing a bespoke service of the highest quality with empathy, patience and respect at its core.

They are currently looking to recruit additional Support Workers with opportunities available across Cornwall in St Austell, Falmouth, Truro, Redruth, Camborne and surrounding areas.


THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for caring individuals to join a friendly family run company. There are Support Worker opportunities currently available across two services:

Community Care - working with elderly vulnerable people, providing high quality personal care to clients and helping them maintain independence in their own homes.

Learning Disabilities & Mental Health Team - supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health problems to live independent lives and assisting with social activities.


THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Support Worker will be caring, approachable and compassionate by nature with excellent communication skills. You will be committed to helping people develop and maintain their independence within the community. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Key skills/experience essential for the Support Worker role:
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
  • Access to a mobile phone
  • Able to work in one of the following areas: St Austell, Falmouth, Truro, Redruth or Camborne
