LOCATION: Shrewsbury or Newport, Shropshire

JOB TITLE: Care Assistants

SALARY: £7.20 - £10.59 per hour 

• 28p petrol expenses per mile 
• Paid travel time between calls (£7.20 per hour)
• 5.6 weeks paid annual leave
• Guaranteed hours contracts available
• Paid training towards the Care certificate
• Free Uniform 

WORKING HOURS: Full time or part time flexible hours to suit

THE COMPANY: Our client is a home care provider based in Shropshire. They provide high quality home care to support clients in their own homes. Not only do they provide high quality care to their clients but as Investors in People, they have also received recognition as a great employer and place to work. They are currently looking for Care Assistants to join their friendly team and have opportunities to work in Shrewsbury or Newport, Shropshire.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for caring individuals to join a friendly company. Working as a Care Assistant you will be responsible for providing high quality care to clients and helping them maintain their independence in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities of the Care Assistant to include:-
• Personal care
• Assisting with mobility
• Assisting clients with social activities
• Meal preparation
• Household chores
• Assisting with medication

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Care Assistant will be passionate about delivering a high quality of personal care to enable clients to maintain their independence in their own homes. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

Key skills/experience essential for the Care Assistant role:
• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
• Able to work in Shrewsbury or Newport, Shropshire.
