Male and Female Reablement Carers / Support Workers

Cherish UK Ltd are looking to recruit caring, hard-working and enthusiastic support workers who are passionate about providing a quality care service to adults within their own homes. We currently have vacancies for male and female support workers to work days, evenings and weekends work work within our Reablement Service. Due to the nature of the work, we are only able to accept candidate to our reablement service that drive / hold a current drivers licence.
Working with adults who have recently been discharged from hospital your duties may include, assisting with personal care initially until the client is able to achieve this by themselves, supporting the clients in engaging in rehabilitation exercises, and enabling the clients to adapt to living at home again after a long stay in hospital.
Desirable qualifications NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care however we believe you cannot teach people to care, that comes naturally so don’t worry if you have no experience or qualifications. We will help you to learn how to provide the support people need when working within their own home.
