Customer Service Consultant (Telephony Mortgage Intermediaries)

Full & Part Time Opportunities
35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
20 - 30 hours per week and flexible between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Please note the salary and holidays stated are the full time equivalents and will be pro-rated based on part time hours.
The starting salary for the role is ??15250 (full time equivalent). Providing you meet the relevant performance and competent accreditation criteria, you may be eligible for an increase of up to ??16300 (full time equivalent) after around 6 months. Please note that pay increases are not guaranteed and are dependent on displaying the right skills, attitude & behaviours and achieving the appropriate accreditation level.
Bristol Parkway is just over three miles away from our office. A dedicated shuttle bus service is provided by Wessex Bus to run from the station to Great Park Road which is near Keypoint.
As a Customer Service Consultant you'll be working within an already established team providing inbound telephony support to both our existing customers who have queries regarding their mortgage and you'll be working closely with brokers from across the country in order to ensure that our customers have a positive experience as they go through the mortgage application process.
You'll be the first point of contact for our broker population and be responsible for building trust and developing strong working relationships.
As well as liaising with solicitors and third parties who act on our customer's behalf, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, meeting call quality targets and adhering to regulatory requirements for both policy and procedure.
To really succeed in this fantastic new role it goes without saying you'll be a team player with excellent communication skills, a desire to learn and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The mortgage market is constantly evolving so you'll be expected to develop a broad knowledge of how the intermediary market operates.
You will need strong communication skills both written and verbal. You will need to be able to use your own initiative to investigate and resolve queries at first point of contact and be willing to go above and beyond to provide the best service possible for our customers.
Previous mortgage experience is preferable but not necessary as full training is provided.
