Location: Crawley
Working hours: Permanent, full-time. Shift basis with varying start and finish times, 5 out 7 days per week including weekends.

We are delighted to be working on behalf of in-flight catering provider at Gatwick Airport from two facilities, a Production Kitchen and a Logistics Centre. They are currently looking for two Materials Control Administrators at their Crawley site to join their successful and ever growing team, reporting into the Warehouse and Materials Control Manager.

As Materials Control Administrator in Crawley you will be responsible for:
  • Generating orders
  • Investigating delivery failures
  • Supplier and peer communication
  • Processing all goods receipts in line with company procedures
  • Assisting in periodic stock takes

To be successful as a Materials Control Administrator you will need the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
  • Good working knowledge of Excel including the ability to create and amend spreadsheets is essential
  • Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines is essential
  • Proactive approach to highlighting and resolving problems as they arise is essential
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Good communication skills to communicate with managers and staff and suppliers at all levels is essential
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, materials control, food and Bonded Stores processes is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of FCMS and WMS is desirable
  • Knowledge of Custom and Excise paperwork and procedures is desirable.
