We are looking for a Social Support Assistant for our client: I am looking for a Personal Assistant to provide companionship and general support for a lovely, bright, intelligent, artistically and musically talented young lady, 20 years old. She has some difficulty with noise sensitivity, slow language processing, high-functioning autism and has mild epilepsy. Epilepsy awareness training provided if required. So, looking for someone who’s gentle, patient, understanding and able to fit in with the family, preferably with a great sense of humour. Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Reliability and flexibility essential. Requirements 20 hours a week Monday-Friday 2pm – 6pm Extra hours may be available at the weekend and in the mornings Job share available - Please apply if you can do any of these shifts Flexibility required £8.50 per hour Monday – Friday £9.00 per hour weekends and bank holidays Mileage will be paid when accompany on trips out *Sch. 9 s. 1 (1) Equality Act 2010 applies Must be comfortable with pets Must have a UK driving licence Must have access to own vehicle All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
