WORKING HOURS: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

With 5 regional offices, our clients are a national commercial property letting management company. Covering industrial, trade and office properties, with a current portfolio of 4'000 units, they manage the day to day property management including Building Maintenance, Agency and Credit Control. They are now looking to recruit for their Wakefield branch.

Based in Wakefield, our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Lettings & Management Surveyor to join their small but friendly team. This role is ideal for anyone from a property background wanting to progress their career within this fast moving lettings sector.
Although based from the Wakefield office, this role will see you cover the Yorkshire, Humberside, and Lincolnshire area. Meeting with both tenants and landlords alike, you will be responsible for the management of the extensive portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities of a Commercial Property Lettings & Management Surveyor to include:-
  • Visiting prospective and existing properties/estate
  • Negotiating new tenant agreement's
  • Meeting with existing and prospective landlord
  • Assist with the managing the office portfolio
  • Show prospective tenants round properties
  • Arrange leasing and letting of properties
  • Arrange and attend tenant inspection's
  • Pro-actively seek new properties

Our Wakefield based client is looking for an attentive and self-sufficient individual who can effectively multi-task to ensure the company's portfolio is effectively managed, ensuring all tenants adhere to their agreement's.

Key experience essential for the Commercial Property Lettings & Management Surveyor role:
  • Previous exposure to the property sector would be a distinct advantage, but not essential
  • Full driving licence, preferably clean
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Computer literate
  • Working knowledge of excel
  • Excellent written English skills
  • Work well within a small team environment
  • Work well under own initiative
