Business Development Executive
As a result of a period of sustained growth buoyed by a healthy deal market this award winning professional services boutique is looking to strengthen its deal origination team with a highly motivated and tenacious individual to help identify and win mandates from companies looking to sell.
Reporting in to the Head of Deal Origination, you will produce a targeted list of clients through analytics, research and assess market trends and highlight potential opportunities, build a pipeline of potential opportunities and foster and develop client relationships moving forward. You will typically be targeting clients with an EBIT of over £2m p.a and be expected to converse directly with senior business decision makers - MD's/Chief Executive's/CEO's and Group Financial Director's.
Applicants should have experience of a sales focused role with a proven track record of success (for example recruitment, B2B) with an ability to build strong relationships and converse at all levels. Whilst corporate finance experience would help it is by no means a pre-requisite - a keen interest in this world though would naturally be expected.
This represents a highly desirable role in which there are no limits to career progression for the right individual. A highly competitive salary and bonus structure (up to 100%) is available.
