Reporting to the Home Manager the successful candidate will be an inspirational, organised and helpful leader in a busy kitchen environment. Working from newly created menus you will be responsible for organising, preparing and serving appetising and freshly produced food, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety.
Key to your success in this role will be your experience within the food industry, along with the ability to build a strong team spirit in the kitchen. Experience in a care environment would be desirable but not essential.
To apply for the role you will have a minimum qualification NVQ Level 2 or 706/2 in Catering, basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate, knowledge of textured/modified diets is also advantageous.
The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS / PVG / Access NI - delete as appropriate check.
