This well-established wholesaler currently supplies into high-end retailers, food halls, delis and cafes. Due to the business experiencing substantial growth they now need to recruit an Account Manager to manage existing accounts within the West Midlands and Staffordshire.
Your role as an Account Manager is to ensure that existing clients are serviced to the highest level to increase sales of company products. You will maintain the existing customer base, developing sales across the range as required as well as introducing new lines. You will develop new opportunities in target businesses including retail, catering/restaurants, hotel, travel, pop-ups, cafes and sandwich bars, in particular you will build a customer base of independent retailers and increase brand presence.
What we are looking for
You will have at least a year experience of account management/sales within the food industry, preferably within the wholesale or customer facing sector.
The Account Manager role is based in central Birmingham and is paying £18,00,000 - £23,000 + bonus.
