SALARY: £28,000 - £34,000 Negotiable depending on experience + Excellent Benefits

LOCATION: Hertfordshire

THE COMPANY: Top branding and PR agency based in West Hertfordshire with wide experience in retail and shopper marketing. In business for over 20 years with wider business experience spanning over 50+ years.


The role is varied covering Branding, PR stunts, Event management and Marketing activity across the entire mix. This vacancy would suit a committed and experienced marketing and PR professional who seeks the opportunity to be seen in a specialist area.


* Communicating with clients on a daily basis managing their PR and Marketing expectations

* Following through with any client requests enlisting support from the in-house team where required

* Approaching potential new business opportunities (in due course)

* Help devising and implementing campaign strategy / plans, including on the ground management

* To attend regular client meetings (involving travel)

* Contributing to the production of the annual marketing plan/marketing activity plan for each of your clients working to their brief with other members of the AL team and external specialists as appropriate.

* Responsible for taking project briefs from your clients, writing creative briefs, estimating the cost of work required and managing the activity efficiently throughout all its stages on time and within the budget agreed. You will also be responsible for briefing in PR jobs to either the agency's copywriter or your respective account executive.

* Advising clients on budget updates

* Seeking opportunities to cross and upsell (developing additional revenue) for the business

* Ensuring timely management of each campaign / event

* Occasional demand to work weekends and outside of office hours at events

* Dress code: smart-casual (unless formal event or meeting)


* A graduate with a minimum of upper 2 nd class honors.

* 3 - 5 years' experience working on FMCG accounts, preferably fashion or retail, in an advertising/marketing agency. Some client side experience in retail or fashion would be an advantage.
* Good administrative and organisational skills.
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure from time to time.
* Ability to think strategically and articulate marketing, creative and advertising concepts clearly.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player.
* Confident, persuasive presenter one on one or to a larger meeting with the ability to 'sell' creative ideas.
* Good numeric skills and understanding of how to measure and achieve account profitability.
* Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office, Outlook.
* Experience working with social media and PR.
