The Business
If you're a forward-thinker with experience in asset management, we'd like to hear from you.
We're looking for an Asset Manager to join us in Shared Services. As Asset Manager, you'll have a crucial role in shaping our strategy across our Occupational Property Portfolio, in line with our business' wider goals and vision. You'll be making expert valuations, as you help us build excellent relationships with our clients, and reach our targets in a sustainable and responsible way.
What you'll do
As Asset Manager, you'll be managing and implementing efficient occupancy strategies for our Occupational Property portfolio. You'll be taking the lead in the delivery of various complex projects to support business objectives, including forecasting and budgeting, exit costs and provisioning, and reporting and benchmark measurement.
You'll work with your colleagues to develop all UK and Ireland asset management activities, including:
*Property and portfolio management
*Disposals and acquisitions
*Rent reviews, lease renewals and lease breaks
*Valuations and provisioning
*Financial budgeting

What you'll bring
You'll be an experienced general practice surveyor, ideally with experience of working with a variety of clients, and an RICS qualification would be desirable, but isn't essential. You'll have experience in corporate real estate management, ideally coupled with Retail experience, and you'll have good technical property knowledge.
Along with this, you'll have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large complex projects and programmes relating to property activity, and an ability to performance manage and lead external teams and suppliers will be crucial. You'll be highly numerate, with a clear understanding of financial appraisal techniques, and you'll be able to recognise, manage and mitigate risks.
Finally, you'll need to be proactive, with a 'make it happen' approach to your work in order to encourage and implement change. You'll have a creative and inquisitive approach to identifying business opportunities and problem solving, and you'll have excellent communication skills.
As a Financial Services organisation we comply with and support the requirements set by our Regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which are designed to protect our customers. This role falls under Conduct Rules of the Individual Accountability Regime (IAR) and is subject to pre-employment screening. This means if your application is successful, you'll need to satisfy some important background checks before you can start working with us. These will include a full credit check, a criminal record check, residency and right to work checks.
How we'll reward you
In return, we offer a competitive salary plus 30 percent cash and benefit funding programme that can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
