My client, a leading Global Creative Agency are currently seeking a technically astute Network and Operations Analyst with excellent interpersonal skills to join their expanding global team. This role is based in the team's Head Quarters in Central London and a maximum salary of £50,000/annum is available for the ideal candidate for this role.

The successful candidate will provide 3rd / 4th-line project support and delivery of global networking, server systems and operations. This is a highly technical role, coving a broad technology skillset (including; network diagrams, security, Windows server 2012 R2, VMware, Hyper-V, Solarwinds, PowerShell, Cisco / Cisco Meraki, VOIP, SQL, SAN / NAS / DAS) and would suit an IT enthusiast with at least 3 years of experience, a genuine interest and strong technical expertise relating to IT infrastructure.

This is a comprehensive 3rd/4th Line Network and Operations (Infrastructure Implementation, Support and Administration) role working with Windows Svr2012R2 (PowerShell), Cloud services (AWS, Azure), IT Security, Enterprise Storage, Virtualisation, etc. Candidates are not expected to be experts in all areas of IT infrastructure, but the client is seeking a good 3rd-line generalist with depth of experience in some areas to supplement the overall ability of the technical team.

The key skills required for the role are as follows:

- Logical / physical network diagrams
- Implementation of security best practices
- VMware and Hyper-V
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Network and Application monitoring e.g. Solarwinds
- Scripting skills e.g. PowerShell
- Cisco / Cisco Meraki firewalls, routers, switches and access points
- Cisco Call Manager VOIP
- Microsoft SQL
- SAN / NAS / DAS storage

A number of other infrastructure related skills will be beneficial. However the list above includes the key set of skills required for the role.

Main duties / responsibilities for the role:

- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner to all parties affected by service outages and interruptions
- Monitor core global services and maintain them to provide efficient service
- Highlight and analyse trends, providing recommendations for improvements
- Maintain documentation, helping to provide information for all members of the team to operate efficiently
- Plan ahead for regular maintenance
- Help to simplify and improve operational processes
- Ability to analyse and troubleshoot systems and service issues through all layers of the OSI model
- Adhere and ensure security standards are maintained
- Adheres to relevant Imagination and ISO processes

Once again, this is a permanent role, based in Central London, paying a maximum of £50,000/annum.
