Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the business activities, relationships and revenue streams in your appointed territory to ensure that your sales targets and revenue budget is achieved / exceeded
- Sell and promote the entire range of software solutions and services in the designated territory across SMEs and corporate clients.
- Identify prospective customer commercial constraints / excessive expenditure to enable them to achieve increased operational efficiencies, enhanced client engagement programmes and increased revenues
- Build & maintain strong working relationships with high profile medical industry advocates, Heads of Practice / Partners and with field sales colleagues in your region.
- Work closely with other Regional Business Managers and internal marketing teams to share business information, identify leads and collectively build the business throughout the UK and designated regions
- Research and keep pace with new market, industry and technology changes to maintain a competitive advantage and provide the most up to date information to existing / prospective customers.
- Utilise the internal CRM platform to enable enhanced customer engagement, improve business planning processes and track sales revenues.
- Meet with sales colleagues once a month to review business pipeline, strategy and resources available to effectively support existing and new customers
- Arrange and attend Local User Group (LUG) events on a quarterly basis to support existing clients, enhance customer retention and improve / upsell service offering.
- Attend all internal sales meetings and external trade events (including some at weekends).
- Liaison with the Implementation Team to manage successful post sale activities.
- Organise personal travel & accommodation arrangements
- Assist with training of new sales staff appointees as required.

Key Skills:

- Experience of selling Software / Technology / Digital or Data Analytic solutions to SME and/or Corporate clients
- Demonstrable track record in new business sales and ongoing client retention
- As the role will be home based, you will be a highly motivated self-starter and enjoy regional travel and regular client engagement
- Ideally you will have gained formal sales training in use of needs based analysis (business case & ROI based) in an IT, Telecoms, Software, Digital or Data solutions sales environment.
- Strong negotiation skills to increase market share and displace competitors
