Position: Future Talent Co-ordinator

Location: Westminster, London

Salary: £26k - £27k per annum


To provide support to the Future Talent Team, primarily within RICS Matrics - the membership group for all students, apprentices, trainees and those newly qualified. Project managing events and co-ordinating communications in this area, across all media channels e.g. web, social media and reports. Undertaking office and meeting management.


- Support departmental operations by maintaining systems and managing office procedures

- Achieve financial effectiveness by preparing monthly expenditure reports and grant reconciliations across the UK

- Act as frontline liaison point for member and staff enquiries on behalf of the team; taking responsibility for accurate and timely actions in line with organisation standards

- Manage national events including profile raising activities, including Auction Competition, Fellowship receptions and support to the Young Surveyor of the Year Awards

- Be responsible for delegated areas of the UK business plan. Looking for opportunities to raise the organisation's profile, engage members and inspire the next generation

- Take the lead role in the co-ordination, production and publishing of member communications including printed materials. Manage content on the organisation's website and social media; ensuring relevant and timely contributions / stories are added frequently; sourcing content from local activities, trade press and active members

- Contribute to the development of office systems and data management processes, in order to implement and maintain effective benchmarking and reporting tools

- Be accountable for the smooth running of meetings, assemblies and inductions by managing agenda items and producing accurate, clear minutes

- Manage all logistical arrangements for UK Board and Leadership Team - travel, accommodation and venue sourcing

- Manage the co-ordination and delivery of locally based career and educational activities; including the volunteer programme for Inspiring the Next Generation


- Proven experience as office co-ordinator or in a similar role

- Experience in customer service with ability to build good business relationships

- Experience of organising events with good project management and logistics skills
