Finance Assistant urgently needed to join a busy friendly accounts team in Cowley, Oxford.

As a Finance Assistant you will be required to:

- Work as part of a team to take incoming calls into the department
- Deal with customer & Supplier queries via telephone, email, fax and letter
- Continuous management of financial systems
- Liaising with clients (individuals or businesses) and providing financial information and advice;
- Maintaining accounting records
- Update client records, also liaising with 3rd parties as necessary
- Assisting the Accounts Manager with admin related duties pertaining to the efficient running of the accounts Department
- As with all our roles flexibility is important and this role may need to support the operation and sales teams as appropriate.
- Keep up-to-date on technical requirements and industry standards

To be considered for the Finance Assistant role you will need to:

- Be educated to GCSE, or trained and qualified in-house or accounting qualification, with evidence of continued training, or sufficient experience to demonstrate ability
- Have good administration and communication skills
- Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Possess strong computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook),
- knowledge of Sage desirable along with a good standard of numeracy
- Have previous experience a similar role
