Hendre Moolman is recruiting for a Medical Scientific Liaison to join a research-focused healthcare company with offices based in Hertfordshire on permanent basis, this will be a field based role covering the South, South West and west Midlands.

The main purpose of the role will be:
-Report to the MSL Team Leader and be part of a broader head office based Medical Communications team, responding to requests from healthcare professionals for medical/scientific information.
-The information provided maybe within the category of legitimate exchange of information during the development of a new medicine or within the terms of a future marketing authorization.
-Manage the important liaison between the healthcare professional and the relevant internal functions within the company, exploring and identifying opportunities for building partnerships that benefit both parties.

Further responsibilities will include:
-Provide support to Country Clinical Operations & Pharma Development within organisation, supporting phase II - IV studies, whilst at all times adhering to ICH-GCP.
-Ensure that the work complies with company's and other regulatory and industry procedures and standards, including the ABPI code of practice.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-Educated to degree level or above in life science or a related field.
-Must have extensive experience of working in a clinical or scientific role within the pharmaceutical industry or the NHS.
-Must have sound understanding of the NHS and the ABPI Code of Practice. Prior experience in haemophilia and/or respiratory medicine therapeutic areas is highly desirable as is prior experience of the MSL role.
